Pondering Epiphany?

I really don't want/like the VS threads but I'm afraid I have to start one.

My question is if the Epiphany is noticeably different then the ION?
And what the main difference is. ROF? Overall quality?

Thanks alot!

it really depends. if it is like 150 or more, go with the ion, if it is less, go with the epiphany. they are basically the same gun except that you get a freak barrel, grips, a bolt, asa, and grips.

I see, well I have seen some amazing deals on both the ION and the Epiphany. So I guess its just a preference?

we need the amount and upgrades on the gun to have a better evaluation.

i enjoy mine. you get the firing can option too with the epiphany. nice if you are like me play with reballs & outside, you can fine-tune your gun.

I just bought a Epiphany and really like it. It's my first gun and the only other marker I've shot is a 98 Custom, Ion, and Piranha. I personally think it shoots alot smoother than the Ion.

Epi is better and is worth more money, within reason. If you can get an Epi within $50-75 of the price of an Ion, do it.

u should look into used guns here on nation.

you can get fusions, PMRs, minis for about 180-200 bucks.

much better than the epiphany.

I personally feel that the grip frame on the Epiphany more than justifies its price over the Ion. I replaced the breech, so the freak barrel is useless to me (I have autococker barrels because that's what most of my other guns are threaded). The grips are a lot nicer (I kind of include those with the grip frame).

Bracer, IMHO the Epiphany more than rivals Fusions, PMRs, and Minis. The feels are just different. The guns themselves are all great. It mostly comes down to personal pref. I like the feel (grip-wise, and operationally) of the Epi a bit more than the others. I also have a bit of a different mentality when I use the Epi over the others, since the body is replaceable. Though I'm not unreasonably worried about scratching my marker, I generally keep the gun's health in mind as I play so that I don't scratch my gun to hell, or break anything. With the Epi I'm not so worried. The fact that the whole body is replaceable is great, and the fact that every part on the gun can be replaced/upgraded if need be is also awesome.
