Update(3-11-13):
If we have this event on April 7th(Sunday) how many teams would be interested? (We need at least 8 teams to make this event worth it)
This will be reffed by WKU players, we will not be playing in this event. We are renting the field this day for a fundraiser for charity and for us to get to College World Cup (4-19-13 through 4-21-13)
Here are details
-Price: $120 per team ($20 from each team will go to a local charity)
-Paint: Will be BYOP, but we will be having great deals on field paint(more details will follow)
-Beginner and Open Divisions (Beginner=d5 or lower and Open=d4+)(We want ~6 teams per division)
-Play will be 3 man vs. 3 man. Each team will play each other in a round robin first round, then will go into play offs with single elimination.

Western Kentucky University Paintball Club is thinking of holding our own 3 man tournament here in Bowling Green Kentucky at N-tense Sports. We have heard a lot of players talking about how they miss the Pride series from a few years back and we thought we could try to bring that back to everyone.
We are thinking of making it a 3 man and having a pump division and a semi division. Both of these divisions will be open unless we have enough interest in having a beginners division(D5 players and lower).
We are thinking of making it $100 for entry if you pre-pay and 130 the day of the event, or we could do 120 and 150 day of and the extra 20 can go to a local charity?. It will be BYOP, but N-tense will also be selling paint the day of the event.
Was thinking of having this sometime in September depending on the interest we get.

What would the prize structure be? Not all of this can go towards fundraising and charity can it? Especially if you planned to make it a series type event.
No there will be prizes. The prizes will more likley be cash prized depending on the turn out. We would also talk to local business and hopefully they would sponsor us or donate something
