Nexus playing Open XBall at Cup?

http://www.paintball-players.org/cgi....cgi?RID=20173

I was just checking the teams registered for Cup, and I noticed Nexus is playing in the Open Division. Good luck guys, it'll be good to see the team back on American soil.

Gonna have a couple of guests from Vision and Manchester Shockwave so it should be a good outing for the Euros.

See you there

It's going to be hard for Nexus as there are some damn good teams playing, but playing is true Nexus fashion they'll do well

Thanks for that p8ntballer187

You only improve by playing the best players and the best teams. We can't play NXL, so Open X it is.

We are a young team and to have the opportunity to play against the quality of the teams Stateside is something that we all appreciate and look forward to no matter how hard it is going to be.

Love to see that you guys are back in action here in the states! Any chance of seeing you guys at some Super 7 tournaments next year?

It's highly unlikely.
The new Nexus has been given the task of concentrating on Europe and that is what we intend to do. If we are asked to play the NPPL then we will but we don't have a Pro Spot any more.

In all honesty, it is hard work just to play one format on our back doorstep. Trying to do that and play stateside regularly would just not be possible at this time especially for the players who all have regular jobs to work and lives to live.

Hmm Jeff wait a second....they maybe have one chance to see the new Nexus.....

Dont forget : Wasnt it so that the top teams from Europe from the CPL when the last Tourney (Paris) is over will be invited to fight for the (insert Title here) in the states (i think the first five Teams in the CPL) ?

I think that was last Year. Europeans flew over to battle it out with the best american teams (ok also the Russians).

So maybe they will be seeing Nexus again *ggg* even if its only for one time this year (Nexus is really good placed in the CPL so if they redid that from last year its possible)...

Yes.
It was good to have the chance to go up against the big guns.

Thing is Philly's would qualify and end up having to play themselves!

The commitments of the other teams is heavy as well so maybe it's not such a bad thing.

PRO teams have such a weight of commitment that an extra few matches for exhibitions sake can make a difference.

Jeff
