best barrel for kick'n paint

has anyone ever used kick'n paint? the stock barrel on my xtra basically spits it out 90 feet to the left/right/wherever. i'm looking for an aftermarket barrel that will shoot well with it, i am forced to use it because my field is FPO,and thats what they gots. its a medium bore paint.

Get a Kick'n Krazy barrel. Last time I talked to Kick'n, they had these barrels made just for their paint. I was talking with a Kick'n sponsored team at our last tournament and they seemed to like their new barrel.

Come on guys, you have to know that paint changes in size from day to day, depending on the weather. No one barrel is always going to shoot well!
However, kick'n paint is usally a med-large bore.

Those stock barrels are generally large bore. I'd try an SP barrel of some kind, just make sure it's med. bore and they're all good.

When I had the great misfortune of using kickn paint I shot it through my Boomstick. It didnt shoot to bad when it wasnt breaking in my barrel. And it did fit my barrel because i could blow it through too. It just liked to break, not on people, but in my barrel.

Talking Brink...

Gotta have the right tool for the job.

The size is pretty consistent. .689-.690

I shoot my Jacko Infinity, CP .689, and a J&J Ceramic with Kick'n Metallix and sometimes Premium Plus.

Your boomstick (if it isn't a custom size) would probably be too tight.

My team has been shooting Kick'n paint since Feb with no hassles.

A few weeks back I shot three cases at a tourney in MS. No chops or barrel breaks. I removed a lot of players (2+ per game). I think bounces were minimal.

Stick with Metallix for tourney players. Premium Plus is very good (that MS tourney had P+ for the Field Paint) but Metallix is their top of the line.

The JT is advertised at .690 with should be a slightly loose to perfect fit for Kick'n.

Talking I think it is .690

Quote:
from www.jtusa.com/Barrel.html
Brand new 2 piece barrels(back half is stainless steel, front half is black anodized alluminum). The alluminum front screws into the backs which alllows you to change barrel lengths whenever you want. The stainless steel backs are interchangeable with varying bore sizes so you can match your paint to the barrel (standard size is .690) They even have a JT logo machined into the stainless. These are available in Spyder, Autococker, Tippmann 98, Excellerator and Angel threading, in 12 inch, 14 inch, and 16 inch lengths.
My Ceramic is .690 and it shoots great. I think that because the JT is .690 (to start) and stepped, it should shoot even better.

Talking I think that is a tournament specific shell and fill combo.

Call Kick'n directly and please mention StL Graffiti when you make the deal. (417) 869-4263

I used a Boomer with Kick N premium. They shot sweet out of my Cocker. Also used it out of my Angel with the stock Infinity barrel ,bore size .688. And it also shot sweet.

Out of all the paint I like Kick N' the best so far. Good thing my local pro shop sells it.
