Take the trigger out and frame off and clean the inside.

RamapoLax is right, just take it apart and give it a good cleaning. all the old paint and gunk probably seeped into the spaces to make it sticky

Only time i've seen it happen is when it's dirty. Make sure your pin isn't rusted as well.

When you take the pin out you can polish it with some emery cloth or scotchbrite. Use a bit of oil on it when you re-install it.

Well don't half *** it.

Take the grips off, remove wires from board. Take the 2 frame screws off, grab your frame and look down at the trigger, there should be a small set screw, unloosen that and the pin should slide right out... Clean it, oil it just like Bill said.

Hybrid grips or stock grips? The screws are probably too long and punctured the noid, I've seen it 1,000 times.

If you bought the gun used, than must have been something the previous owner has done.

I had hybrid grips on my 06 no problems.... But you MUST have the shortened screws so you can be alright.
