I am working on prospective field layouts for the next events and want to get some input on ways to use the "U" on the layouts. Since it has such an odd shape, I want to try to come up with creative ways to put the "U" in play. Any constructive feedback is appreciated.

i like the idea of the D side instead of snake side for the next event. just shifting it one way or the other from the center should be intersting. i guess it all depends on the rest of the layout tho....

I just submitted 7 layouts to Camille. They will decide which 3 to let the players vote on. I have the "U" in its traditional place as well as the snake and dorito side. If I get real ambitious tonight I will resize the images and post them up for comment.

put the U upside down in the middle and put carwashes in front of them. like giant carwash shaped X-boxes in front of a giant U shaped X...

or put bricks with cans next to the U to make it like a 3 sided U castle.

Do one of them old school layouts with a zipper or snake in the middle of the field at the 50...so you can only pop up in different spots not really advance down the field...

Add some more material and make it a solid U then turn it upside down.

I would say keep the U in the snake. I am not playing in USPL, but having it in the spectator side made some very nice angles for the webcast .

face it towards the spectator side so instead of them seeing the sides of the U, they see the whole thing?
