Come on!!
I just got infracted for making a thread. Infracted for being inappropriate. I wasn't trying to be inappropriate at all. There are so many worse threads in small talk.... I was not joking about it. It's news and I wanted to share it with ST. Why can't I incorporate a little Halo into it? It is devastating what happened but getting infracted for that. I've been in stealth mode for 4 months now. Contributing so little in ST and just lurking for fear of an infraction. This is absolutely ridiculous. The last infraction I got was for calling a troll a ******. He made a thread that said "Is there bullying in ST?" and I commented "gtfo ******"... Before that, I NEVER used that word. Obviously jokingly in a "lol wtf are you serious?" manner. And I got infracted for that. And people in ST frequently call others that words in a serious manner and I HAVE REPORTED THEM!! And NOTHING HAPPENS. This is sincerely so freaking frustrating.
Edit: For those of you moderators that don't know I had a deal if I didn't get any infractions I would get my account back that's why I am so mad.

You need to really think about what you post. You really think that's appropriate? 12 people died. 50+ people injured. Little kids will never be the same.
I suggest you grow up a tad bit and think before you post. The joke was disgusting and unacceptable.

I agree that it was a little distasteful where I said12/0, I was not joking or hinting at joking at all. I considered that before I made the thread, you can't see it but I actually added it in, in an edit, I didn't think I would get an infraction for it. There are a lot more worse threads and posts in small talk. There have been dozens of threads in the past where people have literally joked about someone that got killed. I don't see any difference besides it made world news this time. I didn't call somebody a name, I didn't troll anybody. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I am not that kind of person. If that one kid hadn't had posted that youtube video in the thread I am sure nobody would have thought twice about it. I don't find it infraction worthy....

I didn't give you the infraction. I don't venture out of BST. It was not just distasteful. It was disgraceful. Just because other people do it don't think for a minute that's a good reason.
If its up to me I'd say your account should be gone.
I find it infraction worthy and a horrible display of humor. I'm disgusted by it.

You would genuinely consider that inappropriate content? But not "Punisher of fleshlights"?
Edit:
Look, my current account is currently perma banned because I a described an obviously used item as new. And I got so conveniently infracted for it IMMEDIATELY after my gold up expired. How many items in the used forum are described as LNIB? A LOT. I then made a deal if I stopped getting infractions for two months I would get my account back. I got infracted for calling a Troll ******. Go ahead and search my accounts (AzaTuR, 3Empir3E, Not AzaTuR) and tell me how many times I have called someone that word. Not only that, this word is also on the swear filter, so if you have swear filter off you obviously shouldn't mind if people use such words! Other wise the swear filter should be considered pointless. And now this? Something barely infraction worthy, I honestly think it is complete bullcrap and you guys should as well. I genuinely did not break any rules here. I know pbn is a huge website now but I was a paying member with zero infractions for 4 years. Donated. BST Legit... everything.. I don't see any justification permabanning. Do you?

You were permanently banned because you accumulate a large number of active infractions. You were given several chances.

I was given ONE CHANCE. I started posting in st, I was new and did not know what to or not to post. I was infraction free for 4 years prior to that. I accumulated all those points in a matter of weeks. And it was for stupid stuff like saying "First" or "Am I doing it right". Nothing bad. I used my ASM one time unban. I was unbanned for 2-3 days than I get hit for describing something as NEW. Which I have done at least a dozen times in the past and have never EVER been infracted for it. But not only does nobody else get infracted for that (unless the item really is obviously new), my thread was indeed gold upped and the very second the gold up expired is when I got the infraction. Like a moderator was out for blood... So I couldn't say "Well, my thread is gold upped" as an excuse. Can you see my frustration now? This is not fair.

To clarify, are you saying that the first 9 infractions weren't enough to make you read and follow the rules, or that it's ok to break the rules if you got away with it last time, or are you just claiming that you were singled out by a moderator that has never infracted you before?

No, I did get a lot of infractions. When I first started posting in ST. And yes, I did stop doing things that got me infracted. These past infractions I have gotten were "at the moderators discretion" infractions. Such as the most recent one, where I said "12 and 0 kill death ratio" which infraction worthy. And calling a troll a "******" in a joking manner and posting "NEW" in the used forum.

edit:

How come I was not told this? But yet simply infracted as soon as my gold up expired?
This infraction was the kicker, I would like to contest it to get my account back.

small talk feelings get hurt way too easy... people like to report every one for no reason.. there is no easy way to keep a thread up on PBNATION anymore.
this is really pissing me the **** off that we can’t speak out your mind without having some dumb *** talk **** and reporting in. this is not excluding the moderators
i hate tiptoeing around afraid of doing anything bad... had someone trick me into quoting a link and then changed the link into porn.. thats what happens when you dont have a life

Your question regarding the new item infraction was answered in full in your previous thread. You intentionally misrepresented the condition of the item and placed it in the wrong section. It was not your first time doing that either.
You have also been warned countless times on several different accounts to follow the rules. They are nothing new, to you or anyone else, and are applied to everyone equally. I strongly suggest you put forth an honest and dedicated effort to following the rules of PbNation.
Thank You.

After I used my 1-time unban... I did indeed start to post more carefully. As I said earlier, all the infractions following my 1-time unban were "grey area" infractions. And the most recent one, honestly I think is complete bull crap. As should you as well. I mean come on here, I DID NOT BREAK ANY RULES. What I said is not even offensive. Maybe if I insulted the victims, or made a heinous joke. I said he was 12 and 0. There have been worse posts which have joked about the World Trade Centers. As for my BST Infraction... YES, I DID INDEED START FOLLOWING THE RULES. After my ASM unban, I was a lot careful in ST. BUT I am seasoned in the BST section. It was my "safe zone" if you will. I know what to and what to NOT post. I know NOT to post new items in the used section. BUT it is okay to describe stuff as "new". It is a description. How else would you describe something in perfect cosmetic condition? Want me to put slightly used? NO! That will retract from the value! IT IS NOT SLIGHTLY USED. It is in immaculate cosmetic condition, therefor I SHOULD describe it as new. Your moderator up there has items he "only used once" and a handful of other items that are "like new" and include the box and manual. My item didn't even come with a box, manual and accessories. So you're going to infract me based on my description and not infract those with obviously new items, but they know how to beat the system when describing the items? That's EXACTLY what is going on here. You shouldn't judge BST threads based on descriptions but ONLY go after those that are legitimately breaking the rules, such as the moderator who posted in this thread.
You're going to sit here and tell me that this thread https://www.pbnation.com/showthread.p...986&highlight= is not going to get closed or shut down and the user infracted? But infract me for selling something obviously used? The sticker is still on the feedneck for crying out loud! And this isn't even the thread I was talking about!

Also, why couldn't it just go to the holding pen? And what is really bugging me is, why did I get infracted for it the VERY SECOND the gold-up expired? I had it gold-upped, so I obviously meant no harm in describing it as new. And how come, something I have done in the past (describing something as new, not literally selling new items) and never got an infraction, I get infracted for it when I can't get anymore infractions? That is conveniently odd isn't it?!?

Sorry, not true. You're basically saying that it's alright to misrepresent items; either the item is new or used, it can't be both. Don't mistake physical condition with whether the item is used or not. When you create a BST thread there's a list of rules you need to scroll past, number 8 says:
Quote:
8. Post new or "only tested" items in the New or Unused Equipment / Services forum only.

Because it wasn't in the NIB forum; otherwise it would have.

When a moderator looks at a thread that's not in the right forum, has no gold up and is describing the item as new, what else are they supposed to think? Somehow I think it was a bit longer after "the very second" it expired. And even if it was, it wasn't supposed to be there.

I'd say conveniently lucky. I'm not even a bst mod and every once in a while I'll go looking for people breaking obvious rules such as this.

So you're saying describing something as new IS WORSE than actually selling a new item? IS THIS A JOKE! He's actually doing what the rule is SUPPOSE TO STOP. I am NOT.
Okay, I thought the holding pen was for threads that people haven't gold-upped? Like mine?
As to your last two points. Moderators already new about this thread prior to that infraction. It's pretty obvious a moderator was waiting for the gold up to expire. And if you're so into looking for threads where people are breaking the rules, go to the BST thread, you'll find hundreds of people you can ban who described items as new! Even if he genuinely didn't know about that gold-up, he sure knows I had it gold-upped now. That being said, do you still think I deserve an infraction after giving money to this website for a thread I made?
Edit: I'm sorry if I'm coming off rude, I'm just really frustrated here that any of you think that my account should be permabanned from that BST infraction. Which is bullcrap.
