I really like XP, so no need to shell out major dollars for another operating system. My PC stays on for months at a time (no crashes) and with a great security (PC-Cillin FTW!) I am protected.

My problem with microsoft has always been this, XP and Vista are full of unneeded junk. For the average user these aren't bad things, but as a geek/nerd/techie whatever you wanna call me. I don't the OS bogging down the fantastic system I paid for, in order to get performance. They really need a stripped down no frills geek version of xp or vista.

OMG!!!!!!!! WHAT A MORON!!!!!! MY BROTHER WORKS AT BEST BUY, HE IS A HOME THEATRE SPECALIST (sp?) AND SOME RETARD CAME IN AND SAID "hey i mounted my plasma screen t.v on my ceiling above my bed so me and my wife could watch t.v from bed and i turned it on and theres no picture but theres sound, i would like you guys to replace it with the warranty" me and my brother got in huge ammounts of trouble because we just started laughing at him!!!!! because you cant mount a plasma t.v at an angle more than 10 degrees because the gasses will settle!!!! i was asked to leave and he got in trouble somehow, but the guy ended up buying another t.v


i want vista because it looks AWESOME!!!

Can't you remove the unwanteds during installation with the advanced mode? Or can't yo also use the tweakUI? It's always good to have more than less, I think, because people would complain of the price and not having "frills" for the $ worth. I agree tho. I'd rather have just the essentials to make my pc run smooth.

Gosh is another form of saying God. Just like shoot is another way of saying the curse word (also dang, fudge, etc.). It's the same thing just abbreviated.
I care about the multiquote because it keeps the thread cleaner and smaller (so we don't through like 8 pages in 1 day with people posting 1 post after another in replies, when they can do the same in 1 single post).
