Empire halo or Vulken Vmax

The halo and the v max are about the same price and I was wondering which is more reliable on the performance side of things.

Thanks!

Halo for tournament. Valken is a good loader for rec ball.

Wow, I am shocked at the hate for the Vmax. That hopper has never failed me and even have a second one for backup.

Just because a product works for you, doesn't mean its great for everyone. Halo by largest deficit in recordable history.

If you like a tall, heavy, & fast loader, get the Halo.

If you don't shoot more than 10 BPS, then the v-max will do just fine. It's better looking than the Halo in my opinion.

Most paintballers prefer the Halo.

I can see that due to style and what not, but the comments are along the lines of poor BPS. Mine is fast...super fast, but others states they hated them. Lower BPS and and jams, which I have never seen in my hopper. Wondering if it was a batch or type of marker being used. I am just wondering why...that is all?

It seems that the V-max lemon, is the one that works. I have heard everything from poor feed rates, to battery drainage, to improperly constructed parts.

Is it safe to say that both are pretty good for rec ball?

No.

I love Halos and use them on most of my markers but they are heavy and eat batteries. I also love the V-Max when its working properly. A properly operating V-Max is fast, half the weight and holds more. It is also infinitely more durable.

The best rec ball hopper depends on the marker. Tippmann? Cylone feed is the best. Mech Cockers? Revy X board. Ion? V-Max, Rotor, Fasta, Pinokio. I use a gravity feed on my Classic Mag, a Halo on my RT Mags, a modified Ricochet 2k on my Cockers, a V-Max on my NXT and small gravity feeds on my pumps.
