Sparta= yes great band, unlikely they started just in 2002, they have played all with each other prior to this title.

but still who cares when they started?

Sparta, but At the Drive-In was better.
Do the Vines count? They would come in at the runner up position

i thought we were talking about bands that STARTED in 2002.. the vines have been around for a good amount of time. i saw at the drive in live in 99, they've been around long before that.

ATDI was tit (tit = wierd connecticut lingo for "the best" or "very good") any way, i used to listen to one of there CD's, i believe the name was "relationship of command" not positive though.. they were reallly good.

i havent heard any of spartas stuff, im guessing that they are one of those wannbe emo bands (NFG) that everyone seems to like. well, i dont get out much and i dont listen to the radio or watch MTV, so excuse me if i was wrong.

WAY wrong. On the other hand they dont sound like anything popular or like any other band (that i know of.. and i know quite a bit of them.) And I dont know if they were ever on the radio or MTV, dont listen/watch either of them.

MTV doesn't play music anymore, just rap.
