nppl doesnt do background checks it's provided by the grounds or event services or who ever they rent the place from. They pay a fee for ground use and clean up. So NPPL should really have no responsibility. And not only that you guys are in freakin florida, like"i got my crap stolen" capital of the world. If anything NPPL should take action against the place, but i am sure their is plenty of liability and other laws. So just make sure u have someone (girlfriends work wonders, but they tend to get mad at u when u make them sit there for over 12 hours) watching ur ****.
thats awsome
a friend of mine got his proto with other ppls tank and barrel on it stolen in world cup and now he has to quit bcuz he only has the $$$ to pay back for the other ppls equipment that got stolen. btw they placed 4th in d3 5 man but the whole trip got ruined bcuz of his stuff getting taken
i saw all of it, im the one in the blue shirt in the picture on the right. that lil skinny mexican guy was walking out with that green proto, ramon (big black guy) noticed that the gun was a friend of his (a sinful player) and he went over and grabbed the gun and pretty much picked him up and slammed him pretty damn hard onto a pile of trash. after all that happened and a like 30 people surrounded him and took pictures, todd came over and was like "your the 2nd mother ****er to try and steal **** at this event and got caught" and pretty much called him stupid and posed for a couple pictures. and after all that they let the guy walk away. and todd was pretty pissed about that.

Reppin' the right coast.
I got into the players area at SD and chilled and watched the games, I knew some people there, and there were some operations going on to get people in, but the people that got in where legit and wouldn't steal, but when all this stealing is going on I think they need to put a tighter grip on the events. The player's gear safety should be assured as they are spending thousands of dollars to play the game and they should not have to worry about their gear at the staging area during or before or anytime during the game or tournament.
how about lockers with locks supplied to the players ? Only event admins have the keys and even if someones trying to break in somebody will see/hear it.
I'm going to start locking my bag to the table and locking my bag closed during all games. It will suck to deal with it, but after almost losing a teammates gun, I don't think I'll take the chance again. Security was definitely way too lax at this event. Good job Ramone!

Just go over to X Ball and you won't need to worry about your gear since only your team and one other team are in the pit/staging area at the same time and they have security people checking IDs all the time.

That's not the end all solution, just ask Mr U. about World Cup and his missing DM6.
