Back when I was younger, using corn to catch trout was easy. Today was not the case. Buddy and I was out there 5 hours.
Me + spin caster+ corn and a lure = 0
Buddy + fly fishing + fly = 6? trouts.
I r mad.

I introduced my friend that fishes with me the most to saltwater, i've fished with him for bass tons of times, and he was obsessed with it. I hooked him up with tarpon, snook, redfish, and the only reason he would fish for bass anymore is because he couldn't make it to the salt.

If you let that corn float a few inches from the bottom you can hook up with a carp, big carp are kinda fun.

River behind my house only has trout. But yes I know a place where they have carp. An hour away saw a good sized carp and had no fishing gear.

The lake by my house has some monster carp because of this old man that feeds them daily, but if he catches you catching them he flips ****.
Hitting up Ft. Meyers tomorrow for a charter trip, hopefully I can get some nice grouper.

lulz. apparently so. i've stripped down to boxers a few times when i kayak baits out. nothing is more annoying than sitting there in wet clothes.

haha, yah, I just think its funny he went from overdressed, down to thick *** socks and boots in the sand, to in his boxers. Like if i'm surf fishing and I intend to eventually strip to my boxers, I think I would wear a little less to start with lol.

bugs on the beaches at night are insane. i've sat there when it was hot as hell out but wearing pajama pants with a sweater and the hood up just to try to keep the bugs off me. no amount of spray has helped.
picked up my friend to go shark fishing tonight. he forgot to take out the damn stingrays from the freezer to thaw out. we didn't stress it and figured we would just catch some ladyfish or something. the only damn thing we caught was a snook and jumped a few tarpon. called it a night after hours of fishing, and came home. i'll most likely hit up the beaches in the morning/afternoon and go gig some fresh rays in the evening to use that night. depends on my motivation.
edit:
lol. at least he saved the beer.

For those that shark fish. How the hell do you get the hook out without losing a limb?

sometimes if i can see the hook out of its mouth then i cut a bigger hole for the barb and use pliers if i can. if i cant reach with pliers i cut the hook. also if you can get a shark completely on its back it stays relatively calm.

have you ever tried this bug spray?
http://www.drugstore.com/repel-insec...deet/qxp153111
we use it when we're down the shore fishing cause the bugs are bad. if the bug lands on you to long...itll practically melt to you
