High Dwell for no kick?!?

I just read that you can bump your dwell up to say 25ms to be able to lower your LPR extremely low. The guy said he didn't like it and had to turn his dwell down some because it "felt like a toy" because there was no kick. Is this really possible? I'm guessing the only thing that would be affected is decreased efficiency correct? Consistency would stay the same??? Thanks for reading and thank you even more if you responded

Raising your dwell and lowering your LPR will reduce kick. 21 or 22 is the highest most run their dwell. I have never heard of running a dwell of 25. Stock dwell is 18. I run dwell at 21 and LPR about 2.75-3 turns out.

I hear ya bro. I was just pretty curious because I read that this guy was running his dwell at 27 for a while and was able to lower his LPR to 1.5 - 1.75 turns out with no drop off. He said he eventually decided to lower his dwell and turn up his LPR because he didn't like the 'feel'. I was just interested to see if it was plausible or if anyone in this forum has had some experience with running a high dwell.

You said you run your dwell at 21 with your LPR slightly below 3. I'm guessing you have no kick either, huh? Once you go any higher it's basically pointless recoil-wise is what you're trying to say, huh? Thanks for your response by the way.

Well theres no such thing as no kick, but I feel those are the optimal settings for Matrixes. Smooth shot and good performance. Im not saying not to experiment, but those are the settings most use.
