Keep a watch out on the PSP/NPPL pages for when they are running clinics - Sign up for one and pay your fee and after attending you will be certified to ref their events.

Hello! im from Argentina, i ref since 2008 in local speedball tournaments, like TAP (Torneo Argentino de Paintball the most important national tournament of the year, this year we ref the all 3 events that last the tournament, 2 days of paintball per event in diferent places all across the country), the CSP (Circuito Sudamericano de Paintball, this was an international event in diferent places of latinoamerica), LEIA, etc.. and woodball big games.
Im PSP certified since 2011 by David Baker, and im actually the head of the refs corps of the argentina paintball asociation.
We count with a solid team of refs with representation in diferent states of the country, and over 10 of our refs are psp certified, but we also dictate our own ref clinics, and we have an internal reglamentation that segregate the refs in diferent categories.
We count with diferent democratics organs of internal participation for the refs, and a disciplinary court, that sanction not only the players but also the refs.

Referee at local field (Paintball Central in Greensboro NC). First major event was the NXL Virginia Beach Open in early August after certifying with Marcus in July. I'd like to do the WC event in Orlando/Kissimmee, but don't know the process for getting that gig. Is it by invite or a sign-up someplace?

Kevin, don't really know what the process is right now to sign up for reffing an NXL event. Marcus is no longer involved with NXL and ref coordination and I don't think it has been officially announced who is taking it over.
