Picked this up for xbox last weekend.

Really enjoying it so far, it isn't as good as 2 by any means, but still a decent addition to the series.

Is there a cow level?

Yes, but it got nerfed horrendously, so drops aren't worth the time you spend in it. It's actually pony land now. Ubers are pretty much the common run, but the drops for them are garbage and the rings you can craft from the pieces are garbage too unless you've got really good luck and roll the perfect ring stats. I've got only 1 decent ring from about 7 that I've crafted, don't even use it because my rare rings are way better.

Most certainly. This game was a super disappointment, especially after waiting 10 years. The only reason I started playing again recently was because my herpderp friends started playing again and I was bored of the games I have. I've got a pretty good build and it's gotten boring again, we can run mp7 ubers with no problem and mp9 key runs too. We could probably run ubers at a higher mp level, but we just haven't ever tried, we get pretty good drop rates at mp6, and when we ran mp7 not a single one of us got a piece off all 3 uber portals... it was quite disappointing.

So when that comes out I wonder if we keep our paragon levels or if it is transferred over to exp to level up to the new level cap? Also, how is paragon levelling going to work in conjunction to actually levelling to the new cap? Can you paragon at the same time as you regular level or are you going to have to wait til you hit the regular level cap then paragon like it is now? Very interesting the stats that you can change for paragon levels though, I didn't think it would have been all those stats, I would have thought only str, vit, int, dex would have been changeable, but it seems like you can also change crit chance, crit damage, etc. Paragon levelling might actually be important now for everyone, not just for mf lol

im very excited for this expansion. D3 was a let down. Iv been a hardcore Diablo fan since D1 came out. I still play D2LoD haha. Hopefully this makes the game replayable just in the same was as D2 was

I downloaded the D3 Demo on my PS3 on saturday and played through the skeleton king with a wizard. Took a little bit to get use to the controls, but the buy / sell menus are a bit clunky in my opinion.

Does the console versions allow cross console play? How about cross platform to playing with PC members?

D3 was terrible. By far the worst game Blizzard has put out (this includes all WOW expansions)

I'll wait and see. I couldn't even bother grinding to ubers level stuff in D3. If this expansion is any good, I may start playing again. Sure as crap not buying on release day like D3, though.

Agreed. I will wait a bit to see what people say and till bugs are fixed.

It was quite the disappointment. I don't know if it's the worst blizz game ever as I've only played d2, d3 and sc1, but it definitely was not up to par.

Same. I'm actually waiting til it's $5 on sale somewhere before I buy it. I played for about a week straight recently and I'm already bored again after not playing for a year. The rewards given for beating ubers are just horrendous.

D3 was a let down because of the reward system. I just remember farming for hours just to get a few items I could maybe use. And finding legendary stuff? Haha ya that was fun.....

Not even that, the replayability was awful. I remember playing through normal, hitting nightmare, getting about halfway through and just stopping because it was flat out boring. I had no desire to go beyond that point except to max level my character, and even then only so I could see what each rune/skill combination did. The drops are better in the current build, but not anywhere approaching good, you're better off just buying in ah, you can get pretty good gear for cheap, the only thing you might want to craft on your own would be ammys and shoulders.

No complaints on the drops in the xbox version. Playing hardcore and I think Ive made it to level 26 sofar.

once I get the achievement to make level 30 with a hardcore ill go back to my main character.

Wait until you reach level 60 and you get rare weapons that do 260 dps. Like seriously, why am I getting rares with 260 dps?! I get white weapon drops that do more dps than that. It's little details like that, which add up to the game being inadequate.

somehow i played until hell or whatever the hell the last difficulty is. i enjoyed D2 a lot more. this felt cartoony and gimmicky.

Yep, it was a money grab based on a game that came out 10 years prior. Makes sense.
