i have also tried to make custom ones that are like 50 x50 and PBN still says they are to small

When you make anything in photosop, paint etc.. and just press save it does not save as the correct type of file needed to use the avatar. If you just click save, it will save it as a jpeg file. In order to use your custom avatar on pbn , aim etc you need to click the drop down menu and select GIF , somtimes shown as (*.GIF)
