You're exposure should be more like 10-20 seconds, ISO 100, F16 instead of 2 seconds, ISO 100, 5.6.
You'll take a ton less photos, get sharper captures, and get a better rate of bolts/no bolts.

I use a combination of the clone stamp, healing brush, brush, and patch tool. I almost never touch dodge/burn (at least for skin retouching).
I use dodge/burn a lot for eyes (to add local contrast and bringing out texture).
I've started using frequency separation, but not for this picture. I'll post another later this week.

Yeah. Everything was fine in photoshop, then looked like that when it was uploaded. I replaced it.
