I think the quest has one of the most comfortable frames ever. I wish I could get mine working.

Couldn't agree more! I was just admiring it yesterday thinking the same thing. If only they made an improved version- lightened- when they did the 07. Keeping all the good but making it even better.....

A refined quest would be amazing. Stock with a 4b type bolt, a hidden lpr, an oled board and shaved weight would be perfect.

ZR1 is a ball sack. I hated all of them I've shot and the ASA is a joke. Not sure what's so different but the quest definitely shoots better IMO.

ZR1 is no weight savings over the Quest, Cole changed the frame geometry slightly, changed the trigger a lot, and the frame is made that it's very difficult to fit an OLED (just ask Josh that has an OLED in his).

From what Josh said, the programming on the board even helped make the ZR1 shoot better when he put the APE OLED in it.

And, as shifty pointed out, the ASA is a joke being $1000 marker and including a non-on/off non-purge $2 throwaway ASA.

ZR1 is one of the worst releases I can think of.

Paid *** nib for mine, haven't tried it out yet though. Podesta sent it with cp reg and asa to avoid the stock reg/asa.
That being said I knew I was headed into a minefield of issues with this marker, all good though

You can use one of these if you hate the ASA (what I did with a mini for a while)... http://www.ndzpb.com/index.cfm?fusea...3&categoryID=5

I would just toss a standard asa and reg on it, it will outperform the stock setup by leaps and bounds. I tossed by old aka 2liter on mine... was ****ing amazing. No bottle on gun issues, no drop off, no issues period.
