IMPORTANT!
Just to remind all the teams attending the TOC. We will play a double elimination style tournament. Each round will be a best of 3, where seed 3 will play 6, and 4 will play 5 in the first round. Then the 1 seed will play the winner of 3/6 and 2 seed will play the winner from 4/5. The winners from this round will play for the Championship!
So good luck to all those teams, and we hope see everyone back next year.
Thanks,
The CFOA

Tournament of Champions is an invite only event. It does NOT count towards your CFOA season ranking. In fact, the season ended yesterday for CFOA. I believe pump will be there, but don't quote me on that. Only the top 6 teams from each division will be invited. You can not buy your way in, you MUST finish in the top 6.

In the TOC the top six teams from each division are invited to play it out for the season ending prizes.

In the prizes thread they show prizes for pump toc "in the works" so I assume there will be a toc pump. As for the other divisions the top 6 from each division will be invited to play for some awesome prizes and a nice trophy.

Seems to sum it all up, however D3 did not meet the team registration requirements so they will not be represented unfortunately.
Jdogg and myself were both there playing D5 last year, representing Carolina Vengeance and Upstate Army respectively.
All three answers have said the same things albeit with different words. If there is something more specific youre after, please ask.
Thus far, we have:
-invite only based on regular season standings (top 6)
-considered a post season event and does not improve you standings
-this will count towards appa points
-D5 and D4 will be represented, D3 will not
-pump should be in attendance as well (6.23 teams/event; waiting for confirmation from Radford)
-$1000's in prizes are at stake
Ill go back and find the bracket we used last year if i can so you guys can see how TOC is run if you haven't yet.
Edit: Here we are.
TOC is run as a bracketed, double elimination, race-to-2 tournament. First and Second seeds get a bye and play winner of 3/5 and 4/6(I believe, and I now think I made an error. Either way though, no matter where you start, you get the gist of it. Only real differences are with 1st and 2nd.)
The catch is that if the team coming from the losers bracket(game 9) wins the first match, they must play again so that the winner of game 7 has lost twice and can be eliminated. For those teams eligible to attend this event, I STRONGLY advise you do so. This will be the most fun you will have all season. The event runs smoothly and is just a ton of fun to play, not to mention it is easily the most competitive event you will play all season. All those who were there last year will likely tell you the same. Jdogg is already in this thread and was there, so I'll leave it to him to share/voice his opinions.

Next year man... Next year. Should be a good few D4 teams moving to D3 this season and D5 should be moving to D4... So with any luck, there should be 8+ D3 teams per event if people stick around.

It's noted on the CFOA website at the bottom of the prize listings.

I pointed out I made a mistake in the text below the image. I just didn't feel like taking the time to edit the bracket.
