Why does everyone hate ions?
hello nation, today I have a wierd but serious question...... why does everyone hate on ions but love dm's, ego's and other high end stuff? Yea I know it cost a lot to upgrade but it would still be cheaper. Also the ion is what gets most players hooked on speedball :p

Way back when the Ion first came out they were way cheap, mid level guns. It got tons of new people hooked on paintball. New people that thought Ions were the best gun out there, they talked major **** on every other gun. Basically all the **** talkers created a bad name for everyone who owned an Ion.

people were pretty unhappy with Smart Parts for suing people for patent right also,i for one dont give a sh*t,.Also if you can buy a gun,throw a few hundread bucks and it will keep up/outshoot a gun someone spent over $1000 on that will piss a few people off too.Haters just hate too

Because lots of people hat on smart parts. But who is the maker of the luxe? Oh yeah smart parts. And the SP vibe is a buttery gun. Shoots ropes with a new barrel, my bud owns one , it just sits in his closet collecting dust as his back up for a Dm hahaha

They were contracted to make it. Not the designers. Hints why the luxe didn't die with smart parts, and why they are SP threaded. |

I think its because when they game out they were an amazing gun for cheap.
people could easily make them a tournament gun for half the cost of a higher end gun
I loved them I bought higher end guns way back in the day but was always fond of my ion(I just bought 2 of them today for kicks)... gonna start collecting them I think
they really shoot like a dream

I have owned a couple of ion's and love them. Good all around marker at an affordable price tag. Just yesterday I bought one for $90

I gotta say, I had an Ion with an L7 bolt, Eclipse QEV, Virtue OLED board, Evil Detonator reg, and a Punisher 15 degree frame.
I miss it to this day
