I know, just use the HE poppet engine, but still, if the spoolie turns out to be as far off the claimed efficiency numbers as the g6r is I'm worried it won't be good for much more than recball.

Efficency is all about how well you maintain and tune the marker. I have been able to achieve 16 pods out of my ripper and even more out of a G6R. I don't think Bob was lying about efficiency numbers.

Questions for Tim:
Will the longer reg be avaliable as an upgrade for the V1 and V2 vics like the spool engine? I know that critical and voilent both made one, but I like this one better.
Will the spool engine casing be OK to anno after the fact for people upgrading their custom color V1 and V2's? Id hate to have a beautiful green and blue vic, and then put a black spoolie engine in it
Is that a "premium" bolt head on the engine shown?
thanks!

That's awesome! 2 guns in one. I wonder if it'll turn out the way a spoolie should be.

efficiency vs accuracy? Get the best of both worlds with one gun. What do you mean whats the point? I think you've had an Alien in your hands for a bit too long

Nobody has decided if the extended reg grips would be sold separately. The spool engine will be available in black as the standard. I'm sure there will be a price difference for the other colors.
The bolt tip is just anodized red. Not a "supercharger"
Hope this helps!

I've said this before, but I really feel like Bob is the only one pushing the envelope when it comes to doing new and innovative things. Everyone else focuses on how much more they can mill off of last years gun and whether or not they should have QEV's or other useless things. Kudos to the BLAST crew on pushing paintball just a little bit further.

Is there really anywhere else to go? We can currently outshoot most tournament/field speed restrictions with pretty decent efficiency and accuracy that relies more on the ball and gas than the marker.

I dont know, we havent seen what Empire is going to foffer with the Vanquish, j4's marker will obviously be a lot more than just milling and stuff, and Im curious to see if Dye actually does something new with the next NT.
There are other companies doing what you said tho, and I dont think I need to list them. Bob definitely is the leader of the pack right now, we will have to see what the aftermatch is from PBE.
