So I had a Vanquish, Luxe and Axe all at once and thought you'd like comparison pics

This is the Luxe and Vanquish stacked on top of each other.

Luxe and Vanquish with Prophecy hoppers:

Axe, Vanquish and Luxe

Luxe and Vanquish side by side:

the asa kills the vanquish. Also there are so many external screws on the vanquish and none on the luxe..

I really don't get that arguement. The ASA is not much bigger and it is also the regulator. Giving it a lower center of gravity, so I think it's a fair trade off. Looking at one side, I see 3 more screws. 2 for the fore grip cover and one for the frame hinge. Again with the ablity to open the entire gun up in seconds is a trade off I can live with.

From a design perspective, I completely understand why someone would want only regulated air in the gun. Especially in a macroless gun.

How did you get that feedneck on your axe?

And I never realized how long the vanquish is

Yeah, and those grips look like they belong on a hair dryer.

I can say when I first seen the Vanquish I thought what the hell were they thinking. After watching the maintenance video and looking at it a little more, it's definitely very utilitarian and a shooter's gun. Coming from Automags, this is growing on me.

Blackout screws on the Vanquish would look really good.

Sort of. But the only way to get the insert is to buy the complete feed neck.

yea that makes sense. the axe has needed a feedneck replacement for well... before it even came out lol. since the mini's inception. good to see they are finally doing something about it.

My thought exactly. I think the SS screws stick out when looking at it and makes it look cheap compared to other high end guns. At least it's for a practical reason. I think dust colors also look soooo much better against the rubber. Are those standard .45 grips? That would be amazing...

So John, how does it shoot compared to your Luxe? Exactly the same feel? It looks like it would aim and feel exactly like a Luxe on the outside.
