Custom star wars anno + engraving
Hi, I was wondering anyone can or knows someone who could do a custom job on my luxe 2.0 or ego CSL. The design id be looking for is quite comprehensive. The design would be a star wars theme. It would essentially be 4 different colors, on one side of the marker it would be white and blue with the Jedi code illuminated by a blue light saber behind the writing on a custom grip. On that side as well, Matching the grips in color would be a Jedi in a robe holding a blue lightsaber at his side with a whirlwind firing out of his outstretched hand towards the other side of the gun coming overtop of the barrel onto the other side as well as below where the regulator and trigger guard is as well.
On the other side it would feature red and black colors with the sith code illuminated by a red light saber on the custom grips. On that side as well it would match the grips colors (red and black) and have a Sith Lord in a mask in traditional Sith Lord armor, holding a red lightsaber in one hand and lightening firing out of his outstretched hand towards the center of the marker matching the other side of the gun in the attempt to reach the other side and meeting in the middle to create a swirl of blue and red with a centralized clash
I can provide pictures of the Jedi and Sith as well as the two codes if this is something you guys think will be achievable.
Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing back

It might be easier/cheaper to get your marker hydrodipped. Won't mess with tolerances, if they mess up, they just peel it off and start over. Also, if you don't like it, it's not permanent.

If you can find someone who can make a custom hydro pattern like this, let me know because I'd be all over it.
I don't know anyone who can do a job like this. Have you seen any guns with the sides being different colors? Not to mention being two different colors. I think what you want is shooting for the moon and you may have to compromise on all of these aspects.

Basically I'm looking for someone gutsy enough to try. I'm willing to compromise and scale down of course if it can't be done but I am going to shoot for it regardless. How sweet would it look if it was achieved tho

I think you guys are right that it has never been done before and that it will be a difficult project but I have the funding for it and am looking for someone gutsy enough to try. I realize that I may have to compromise or cut back on some aspects but I think it's worth trying

Well, for one, there's the Two-Face Cocker from Belsales(?). It's a four-color (maybe 3, pretty sure 4) fade on one side, and black on the other.
I've also seen picture-like art done on markers... planets, Star Trek themes...

Ya I've also seen full graphic art on guns too which is the reason this idea even came to me. I think it's just a matter of finding an outfit that is equipped and experienced enough to pull this off. I've tried going back to DLX and Eclipse but they've told me that they don't offer custom anodizing services and told me to contact kohn sports. From there kohn sports has told me that they aren't equipped to do what I'm asking for.
Like I said I've seen these types of designs done before I just need to find the people who can do this for me. If anyone has a gat with graphic anno please lemme know

I tried to go this route on my current build (designing my own pattern) I spent a good amount of time designing a bad*** zombie print only to find out it would cost thousands of dollars to have it made.Needless to say I settled for a different pattern that was already available.
I would suggest designing everything yourself first so it is done how you want it. You could have each side annoed the color you want and design the laser graphics how you want. For example on the blue side use a jedi graphic were the Jedi is mostly Black with the blade on the saber only outlined then an outer outline of the light shine. This would make the Jedi appear White (after laser) and the light saber blade appear blue (because it is only outlined over the Blue anno) and also blue around the blade(light shine) and inside the outline of the light shine.
If you want I could try and help you with the laser design graphics ( I designed the artwork on my ED Mag ) if you want to send me the pictures of what you want and descriptions we can try to work something up. Let me know

I assume you are talking about this.
This gun was done by pk selective a long time ago. The guy that did it was probably one of the best graphic/artistic anodizers I have ever seen. All of the dye/color on the gun was done by air brush and would be extremely expensive. Today, I could see this costing well above the $1000 mark. He no longer works for pk and hasn't for a while. I'm not even sure if he is still in the industry.
With that said, the best option that I know of would be to contact pk directly and see if they have the ability to do it. There is a link to their website in the list of anodizers stickie. Have a design ready for them to look at. Doesn't have to be prefect but it will better represent what you want done than trying to write it down. Chances are it will be very expensive. From what I can tell, what you want done would be possible to do with anodizing, it doesn't seem any more complicated then some of the graphic stuff dye or planet do. It's finding the ano companies they use to do it, and they will not tell you who they are. If it helps the process used to do the planet and dye graphics is either a 3d type printer that applies the dye to the anodized part or a sublimation type transfer of dye.
Next option would be to get a hold of these people http://www.onelabs.com/ia00.htm and find out what anodizing companies have purchased there anodizing dye printers and go from there.

Hmm very interesting. Ya I've talked to dye, eclipse, DLX and a couple more direct companies and they wouldn't touch it who to refer me to. I have had an offer from a good friend who's a tattoo artist to airbrush the design I'm looking for.
That said, he is a good friend and he is also not new to the paintball industry (used to be a dye distributor) so he knows what he would be up against. Nice part is he'd do it for free in order to advertise himself and see if he can try and open in the new market if it succeeds... What do you guys think of the airbrush idea? I mean it's free so worst comes to worst I don't like it and pay for it to be anno'd a color I like right?
And ya I've talked to pk selective already and they told me that they couldn't do it and to talk to a company by the name of grunt bull and they said they could do graphic imaging on it but they are too busy for any custom jobs (basically they have a selection of graphic designs you can choose from and that's what your limited to)
