alright, i dont want to be mean or sound mean, i just want to help you out because i've been in a similar position. but first you should let people know what type of a team your looking to get onto, whether its speedball or scenario.
if it is scenario then cpx does have a few home field teams such as GFarmy, hellions, fugazi, ground control. however with gf army (the team i play on) about half the team is over the age of 21 and does drink the night before the scenario and they know how to party. im not sure if you parents would want you around people who drink. and also those teams have been together for a while and are basically like second families i guess you could say.
speedball, well cpx dosnt really have much for speedball, so you dont find many teams lurking around there to often.
next. if you want people to notice you a little bit more, you should probably mention how much you have played, how many years, if its scenario's how many you have entered, if its tournaments again how many you have entered and how well you have done.
also, maybe post up what kind of gear you have.
if you cant find a team maybe you should start your own team. if not keep looking, im 17, part of the younger half of our team and, well yea basically the half of us where freinds looking for a team and the other half needed some people to fill up the roster, you never know if when you'll find a team unless you keep looking and are productive at trying.

Are you only down with CPX? Fox is nearby and there are a few younger teams there, too (Freelance Assassin's, Shadow Ops, for instance). What is your preferred style? Mil-sim? Look at teams like Hellions or Fugazi. Hybrid, try Ground Control, Pretty much in-your-face paintball, try teams like Headhunters or Chi-Town Hustlers. I don't know what their requirements are for membership. Our requirements (Heretics) begin at 18 or older, but you are more than welcome to play with us if you want (just can't be a member until 18).
Note that all of those teams are scenario teams. CPX doesn't have tourney teams because they don't do tourney. Fox is your place for tourney.

What is your mode of transportation? What is your budget? Being on a team means playing on a schedule, not whenever you feel like it. What is your commitment level?
