eotech holographic sight replicas

lately, i've been researching up on scenario type markers and so on...........and i came across the famous eotech holographic sights. to my amazement, the're about atleast $500 each. then i discovered a replicas here and there that were about $50 each and made in china. my presumption is that they're probably cheap and not of the greatest quality. its okay. im not racist. im Chinese. =)

but my question is are there any good to decent quality eotech holographic replica companies out there? or are there any that you used and would recommend?

I wouldn't go Eotech even if I wanted the genuine ones. Our SWAT team had all Eotechs for a while and had nothing but problems with them. Switched to Aimpoint and haven't looked back.

true statement, however people are intitled to buy what they want. As is evident with the 18 lb tippman 98's that look like a barret .50 cal had an abortion. If that reference doesn't sit well, people still buy 05 egos with slightly different milling for $2000 each year just because some guy at PE has a way with words and makes the same gun sound completely new and revolutionary. Or how about that SL91 Geo that's on ebay for $6000? People will buy what they want, no matter how idiotic or proof of lemming-ness it is, we just gotta let them spend their money.

We had everything from the sights just giving up, on fresh batteries, to not keeping zero, to vibrating apart when the weapon is fired. Aimpoint makes a far superior product. Eotech is just a name that caught on all at once.

Eotech is expensive for a reason, and should never be used by a paintball player (or airsofter for that matter). Paintballs will never travel straight, and therefore dont need a precisely zeroed sight.

The replicas are replicas for a reason, they just use a laser reflecting off a mirror. They work fine, but any impact will break them (depending on how hard its hit). Unlike real eotechs, they are not NV compatible, and are not waterproof.

hope i helped out.
