i watched it again for a third time last night (well, it was on while i was playing CS). seriously one of the best episodes if only for the crazy tension w/o there being any actual tension in the final pool scene and for the massive amounts of tie ins to other episodes. the fly symbolism of gale is also freaking amazing and honestly genius how they did it. the fly episode = ultimate.

also, this:

Sorry, but whats this symbolism with the fly I'm hearing about? Interested to hear.

in the fly episode walt said the fly had to be eliminated as it could contaminate the batch and ruin their whole operation.  the fly symbolized gale and if he was not eliminated it would end in the demise of walt and jesse.  fast forward to the last episode.  fly appears again mid way through the episode then at the very end gale rears his ugly head.  the fly is the ruin of the batch as gale is the ruin of walt. 

there were also tooooons of images from that episode that were tied directly to sequences and images from old episodes. i noticed one on my own but someone posted a list of them on reddit if you want to go looking for it.

Note that in the 1st episode of season 5, the driver's license Walter showed to the waitress had Skyler's maiden name, and he was not wearing his wedding ring.

My guess how this thing is going to end:
Hank confronts Walt.
Hank doesn't let anyone know what he knows and decides to take it upon himself to bring justice.
Walt escapes and leaves town.
While Walt is gone, Joaquin Salamanca of the Juárez Cartel (After the violent deaths of several of his family members, only Joaquin and his retired grandfather "Tio" remained to carry the Salamanca name) retaliates and comes back and kills Skyler, his daughter, and Jesse.
Walt finds out that this happened threw Saul.
Walt ends up purchasing the gun and car from the first episode of Season 5, drives back and ends up killing Joaquin and his men in retaliation.
Walt goes to find Walt. Jr.
This is where it gets even crazier.
As Walt. Jr. being the only one left alive from his family Walt decides to go see him before he goes back to living his second life in New Hampshire.
When he arrives where Walt. Jr is living he finds Walt. Jr passed out on the floor, foaming at the mouth. From the look of Walt. Jr, you can tell he has lost a ton of weight and has sores all over him. Walt trys to administer aid to his son, and when he looks up, he sees a bag of his own Blue crystal meth, that his son got addicted to.
At that time, Hank has already found out that Walt is back in town because of the Cartel murders. Hank bursts into where Walt Jr. is staying, arrests a non resisting Walt whom has a look of blank stare on his face. Realizing that he was the own destruction of his entire family. At the end of the episode it shows Hank at Walt. Jrs funeral, and Walter White walking into the prison yard.

Found this in regards to that picture.

Here’s my crackpot theory: A few episodes ago, Walter White promised Skyler that before it was all said and done, Skyler would like him again, right? We also know that Walt is currently embroiled in a potential turf war with another meth organization. What would drive Walt to come to his senses, join Hank, and turn on the other meth organization? Two things: The death of Jesse or the death of a child. The signs have pointed to the death of Holly for quite a while.

Holly dies. Walt turns state’s evidence, goes against the meth organization (and Lawson, the gun dealer played by Jim Beaver), and maybe he’s shot and killed in the Mexican stand-off.

Another potential clue is the waitress’ mention of Swampscott, Massachusetts in that diner scene. Why? Swampscott is Native American for “red rock.” Red has been associated with death all series long, AND “red rock” is another synonym for meth, maybe the meth that the other organization is selling.

That’s a hell of a leap to make from what might be some errant mic wires, but you never know with Vince Gilligan. The guy is a genius.

not until it's already out on dvd.

when season 4 went on there, it was a week or so before season 5 started airing. since season 5 isn't even done airing yet, you won't see it on netflix for a while.

I can see Declan and the new meth organization trying to flex thier muscle against walt by kidnapping jesse and/or skylar. Trying to force walt to cook again.
