Bring a welder and/or mechanic friend with you.

yah pretty popular actually. Thats what im telling you make sure its not half *** you will be able to tell.

There are no kits check the engine mounts see how they did it there will most likely be welding there check the welds they should be uniform and consistant if not then most of the other **** is probably junk too. Do the electronics look old and damaged or are they clean and healthy.

Its worth checking out if you want something like that as a car. Just remember its only an engine swap it will still drive like an old grandma car until you drop alot of money into replacing the bushings buying decent struts and springs. It is an old car and it will need work. It will be a project. Dont buy it unless you are expecting to work on it and put money into it.

Picked this up down at the davis meet. 45 bucks is a smokin' deal. As in the dude must have been smokin something to sell them this cheap. 5 for the catch can 40 for the cam gear. Cam gears normally 120 catch can is normally 80-90.

The catch can is generally a container that collects the vapors from the crankcase and allows them to condense back into a liquid. The liquid can then be drained and thrown away and the air can escape through the filter. This is an alternative to plumbing the crancase vapors back into the engine intake where the engine would burn these vapors. Burning the vapors can effectively lower octain levels of fuel reducing power and increasing changes of detention.

The cam gear allows you to adjust/change the camshaft timing. Being able to control where the valves open and close related to when the pistons are moving up and down will give you the option to slightly tweak where the power comes on for the cam. This is known as being on cam. When you're on cam the camshaft is where its designed to be, producing the optimum amount of power. Advancing camshaft timing can sometimes help spool larger turbos, this is why i desired the item.

Turn it into a truck and get a rear strut bar.

Every time I see an old Volvo wagon now, I think of you. There was a Volvo 240 turbo wagon in front of me today, and I thought "Jurd would do mean things to that car" lol

yah, all the time actually. I go mountain biking a lot and i make road trips. The road trips usually involve bringing parts along and i sometimes have to jack the rear spring seats up or the weight of all the stuff causes the tires to rub to bad.

I love having a wagon.

I agree with the truck part.

Also, I think the same thing every time I pass a 245.

I might have to make my way up to Redding sometime. We might have to do a photoshoot with two euro cars with the same vette wheels on them, mine aren't painted though.
