We aren't trying to make rules for paintball in general to be honest. We are just trying to set some basic guidelines so people have a general idea what goes in here. We know everyone's version of classic is different and we respect that. That's one of the reasons we allow people to argue their case within the thread. In all honesty we actually tried to err on the side of allowing a little too much in this forum just because we realize that most players haven't played as long as we have and think more recent guns should qualify as classics.

I'm saying it adds more fuel for the idiots who argue a gun's price to be 50% higher because paintball-gods breathed on it.
Of course, that was a sarcastic example, and I really hope someone doesn't think that, but it seemed to make the point more clear than previously.

lol i would say no...perhaps we could come up with some type of equation for people to input different specifics about their marker which would equate to if it belongs in this forum or not.

Hi, first time poster here.
I have a 1987 Wintec Lapco pump action gun in original case with gas bottle, silencer, 6 mini gas loader, vest, waste harness, mask etc......
We believe that this belongs to the early Grey Ghost family. Would this suit this forum board?

Are there two pump arms? IIRC, there were "LAPCO" pumps that predated '88 but were just LAPCO parts added to an existing gun of a different make. |

I was hoping to get more of a list for which ones specially. I know the prototypes and the rf s6 and s5's. but where is the line drawn? I have a mech s5 is like to post but not sure if that applies. It's all stock also.

Prototypes, round bodies, ribbed bodies, RFs, and a few others fit the bill, no question. Stock S5s and other of CCMs more commonly offered goods won't.

Rarely do they get put up for sale, first year for the indys, + certainly aren't being bought "brand new" as the first post states.
