I do ask, with this being very very personal, that all of you that do choose to send something, that you make sure everything is tasteful and to the utmost respect for Jason and his family.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Teahen Chapel, Walford, by Pastor James Bzoskie. Friends may visit Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Monday at Teahen Chapel, Walford.
Jason is survived by his parents, Eric and Michelle; a brother, Matthew; and two sisters, Danielle and Taylor, all of Cedar Rapids; grandparents, Bill Calef of West Liberty, Mary Calef of Cedar Rapids and Arlo Becker of Norway; a great-grandmother, Doris Denney of West Liberty; aunts and uncles, Barnie Calef (Kathy Weuste) of Shellsburg, Ray (Kim) Calef, Robin Calef and Mike (Chris) Calef, all of Cedar Rapids, Mike (Kathy) Becker of Atkins, Lisa (Michael) Porter of Fishers, Ind., and Robin (Rich) Pingeton of Normal, Ill.; several cousins; and his many friends and brothers in the National Professional Paintball League and the Paintball World.
His loving grandmother, Judy Becker, precedes Jason in death.
Jason was born March 19, 1986, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Eric and Michelle Becker Calef.
Jason was one of those extraordinary individuals who was able to enjoy his passion and love for something so much that it enabled him to perform at a professional level in paintball that gained the respect and adoration of teammates and opponents alike. He was able to carry that zest for living in everything he did, positively affecting every person who was graced by his touch. He will always be loved and missed by many.
From his paintball brothers.
Any Given Sunday. This is what Jason lived for. He never carried a frown and always made the people around him smile. It truly takes a great individual to be loved as a son, not only by your family, but also by numerous families and people around the world. Most take a lifetime to search for those things most important to them. For Jason, 22 years held more lifelong memories than most, and those memories positively touched everyone blessed by his presence. To turn the heads of a few makes a character. To turn the heads of thousands takes a hero. One thing Jason taught the world was to live every day to the fullest with a continuous smile on your face. You'll always be on the field with us. We love you.
Online condolences may be left for the family at www.teahenfuneralhome.com
A memorial fund has been established in Jason's name.

wow. there were so many deaths this event. My prayers go out to Jasons family and to the HK team. I was watching him in the snake when Finn walked up behind me and was talking to someone telling him to watch Jason. He was a beast of a player.
RIP
