What happened to the top teams?

What happened to Dynasty, XSV, and the Ironmen . . opinions? Was in them playing bad or was it the other teams playing really good?

wellll considering XSV and Dynasty have completely dominated the NPPL for the last 7 tournaments I don't think you can say "it happens" because it hasn't even been close to happening for over a year.

The Boston event had a lot of teams finish far off from their normal spots. Not sure if it was the Baked Beans, or the rain, but something put a lot of teams, regardless of division, way out of whack.

yes. that's what it sounds like.

yes it is paintball and i'm sure it happens. But to all the top teams in one event? just sounds weird.

You wasted your money, they could have made bad calls without their palms being greased. Somewhere along the line they fogot that players are 3D and would only check one side, and all along I thought that Stevie Wonder only dabbled in music, I never knew he started an NPPL Reffing School

thats funny.some fields had good refs.my buddy was asked to ref the pro field.he made some great calls while others on that field kinda were just watching for certain things.they try to make them teams so they know ho to work together on the field but how much jelling can you do in a half day?I saw lots of good tough calls, and some refs who were probably wondering how come the west coast teams sucked so bad while they had a game on.

Reffing was suprisingly better than it has been in the past. But go ahead and take everything away from Rage for winning the tournament by blaming whatever you can

It seems like the closer a team was, the better they did. All the Cali teams didnt make the cut, but 'Canes and Rage did. It doesnt explain the Dogs though......

Uh, you were watching Nexus, which was 3 players from Nexus and the rest were Ironmen. The Ironmen team was 100% 'Men. And Ollie played.

What do you mean the closer they are? Geographically or what? The majority of the Dogs live in the Pacific NW and have played together for years, not to mention several of them are related, I'd say they're pretty close.

did the weather change suddenly again. remember psp texas in the begining of the year it got incredible cold and all the west coast teams did bad from gun problems and just not playing good in the weather but the east playing in cold anyway did fine. maybe it was the weather that hurt the california teams like that

it was wet, not cold.

two of the three teams mentioned above were tooled on by hurras. the dogs are a great team that just have a hard time putting it together in the end.
