You may just want to try the spacer body only and see how that goes as well.

You will need to up your dwell a bit to compensate for a smaller shot chamber.

Just tried the "ultimate settings" and they seem to work great.

Fired about half of a pod in the backyard and the kick was dramatically cut, the gun almost shot like a laser.

thanks for the settings... I'll see how they stand up to real play tomorrow though..

Ok my gun is constintly getting barrel breaks with high grade paint. Just barrel breaks not chops. Any suggestions? It happened while i was using the settings you recommended and both when i lowered the dwell and threew another insert in there.

how many inserts are you using. i had a similiar issue with using more than one spacer...it causes you to drive up the pressure and makes it harder on paint. i tried different brands (all star, premium, stinger, heat, etc) all with the same effect...so i went back to blue tip, insert body with 1 spacer and 130ish input. it seems to be working fine...even in cold weather (40 degrees or so)

Barrel breaks come from **** paint or a loader with the force set too high.

I am having the same issue with high grade paint (evil and utra). Spent 2 hours at the shop trying to fix it. Barrel breaks all day long. Am waiting for Dye to open up on Monday to see if they have any ideas. I really hope they get this resolved. Same paint and loader through my PM8 were fine... scratching my head.

Do you guys have the heavier bolt springs installed? For some reason I don't think they're including those stock on the new guns, they only give them out to people who are having problems. The latest "upgrades" only include the eye pipe and asa as far as I know.......not the heavier spring. Without it, your bolt will be out of time and cause a lot of breakage.

Call dye......or in a pinch if you have a spring of the same dimensions with a slightly heavier strength, try it out.

Did you get the newest update? Your eye pipe may be one of the undersized oval ones.

I also have all the updates... actually tried parts from multiple update kits just to be sure. Not chopping... just barrel breaks. Also turned my rotor tension way down... no help. I am thinking that since mine was one of the first batch... they have some other fixes they have made to the new ones... apart from the update kit fixes. I will ask them tomorrow.
