shocker lube

just curious but will shocker lube work? i can't find dow 55...

If you mean the Dow 33 it should work it's pretty much the same stuff just not as thick. I think they just recommend that one so you don't have to lube it as much.

Dow 55 is Shocker lube. It's the pinkish stuff if I recall correctly.

I personally took it off and put on some slick Dow 33 lube that I use on my DM5 because I was having BAD bolt stick problems out of the box. Once I put it on and bumped up my dwell a bit, it worked fine!

Dow 33 = Shocker Lube, Dow 55 = Timmy lube

I'm not an expert on the Quest or anything but I'd assume Dow 33 would be better for a spool valve design because it doesn't swell the orings.
