The number of shims doesn't really tell us anything about the actual pressure - some LPRs will be at 90 psi with 4 shims, some will be at 50 psi with 4 shims. If you have access to the gauge tool you can tell for sure what your exact pressure is.

Your dwell is more than high enough, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Is this a stock A4, or an A4 Fly? If it's a stock A4, make sure your Sensi setting is appropriate for your loader speed. If it's a Fly, make sure your eyes are on and working properly.

You might also want to check your ball detents.

Does your loader have adjustable tension? If so, you might want to dial that back a touch too.

Dont know low, med, high i run it on low setting. The lpr is adding shims dropping 5 per or adding 5 psi per shim? Im taking son today for bday going to let him use the halo just to eliminate hopper. I streched springs in detents to see if it was double feeding.

Adding shims increases pressure, removing shims reduces pressure. Each shim is usually worth 3-5 psi.

Glad you got it sorted out and it wasn't anything serious. Which loader is it that's causing the problems, just out of curiosity?

IIRC that uses the same belt drive as the HALO B, in which case greasing the belt and gear drive can sometimes help with that as it lets it slip when it's under high torque. Might be worth a shot.

If I remember correctly from when I had an empire B, there should be a few tension levels as well as a few speed levels. I'll see if I can track down a pdf of the instructions, but I'd back these settings down all the way. Start at the bottom and take each setting up and test. High settings that still aren't blending is where you want to be.

There you go. Apparently I'm wrong. It must have been the v35 that had the additional settings. Try Strangelove's suggestion. Or maybe try to find a 4 battery pack and use that. The only issue with oiling the belt is that you have to take it apart more than any one wants to take one of those dumb things apart.
