even though we're not supposed to rate people that rated you, this thread is dead. i'd give it a 6/10 simply because it's lacking processing and a little overexposed. but i still like it

8/10 it lacks separation between the subject and the background. overall, it's decent.

more 1/60th panning!

Nice panoramic but it seems like the leading lines to the left have more space than that of the right. Could just be me.

6/10

ok, since this is more my speed, i'm going to be a little picky with it. my rating is a 4/10. sounds a bit harsh, but hear me out. the car placement is pretty undesirable. your angle isn't bad, but the wheels are turned too much, forcing the wheel to have a lot of unflattering positive camber. less is more

i almost NEVER shoot during the day (unless i absolutely have no choice. ie: at the track). reason being, it's very hard to find a good source of shade. a good rule of thumb is to avoid trees unless there's absolutely no sun spots shining through them. it's so hard to expose for the shadows without having those annoying overexposed spots all over the car/ground/etc. find an alley, a big building, something with a LOT of shade. the more open the shaded area is, the better.

be patient. wait until the "golden hour". this is 45 minutes before the sun sets until 15 minutes after it goes below the horizon. this is when you're going to get the best soft tones on the car and it will REALLY bring out the body lines.

sorry i went on a little rant. but please don't take it the wrong way. i'm just trying to help.

and a brenizer method shot to share.

Not a picture, since i cant rate him, but...

I hear you man, this was a spot i always see the sun coming through the trees and finally i stopped and just did it on the way to work, the wheel is turned that way because originally i was shooting from the other side of the car. I appreciate your CC though homie. Funny this shot was actually just featured all over the net last night hahaha.

haha i've had a few of mine float around that almost never even got uploaded because i didn't like them. i only uploaded them to make the car owner happy. then i started seeing it everywhere

you definitely have a nice car though. i never thought i'd ever say that i like a TC haha. just try to get out one afternoon and take advantage of the sunset

btw, when shooting at sunset, shoot into the sun.

9/10 i've always liked daytime long exposures.

trying different processing techniques on photoshop and went for a grungy movie sort of feel for this one.

Such a cool shot, but it's slightly oof.. I didn't know if my eyes were working right since they're squinty and all, so I looked on your flickr.. the focus is about 4 or 5 feet back from the back of the car. I guess the front of the car is in focus? It's an awesome shot, but I was hard on my rating since most of your other automotive photos are 9's or 10's.

6/10, the *** end is soft and that bugs me. Also looks like there's some kind of botched PP job behind the bike.
