We did run into a slight change to the vx spring mod. The rear oring is a little farther back on the bolt guide compared to the gt's bolt guide. So we had to change the depth of the inner bore in the vx bolt that holds the spring. It should be done on Monday. But so far so good. It's working great so far!

Well mine is doing ok. I got some fsdo at 7 dwell fsdo 3. I think thats cause of new o rings so im just waiting till it breaks in more to really see how it does. Untill then im just going to run a dwell of 8 and fsdo 3.

Gt accents..Good question. I need to see if Macdev is even going to sell them as a kit. But that indeed would be nice.

All new spring modded parts are shipping monday. I was looking at doing a VX conversion using all modded Gt parts, The problem is the valve of the VX is not the same as the GT valve. So there goes that idea... So the VX guys will need to have there parts modded. The VX needs the valve, valve keg and the bolt modded to run the spring. So it would not be cheap. But if the demand is there I will see if Macdev has VX parts still

If you have a gt and are thinking about this go ahead and get it. I love mine running a dwell of 8 fsdo 4 just to break in new o rings. have shot it at 7 with a plus minus of 5 using field paint. but in the cold it had some fsdo so thats ill just leave it at 8 for now. if you shoot the sprung one then shoot a stock one right after you can feel the difference.

How would you compare the shot feel. Smoother or snappier.

I thought it felt a lil smoother. its super consistent. sometimes i think my crono doesnt pic up the shot becuase sometimes ill get 3 in a row the same.

strange since it should make the gun snappier since cycle time is reduced.

Maybe it creates more of a cushioned feel on the back stroke of the cycle? Either way I am going to have to try this.

The vx mod is done. Just waiting for more springs to come in. The springs are a special order item that nobody seems to stock as a normal spring. The vx needs the bolt, valve and valve keg to be modded. The gt just the bolt and valve
