I have a first gen ipod nano and i installed the software and everything i copied cds that i bought from a store a while back and when i go to add them to my ipod it wont let me i copied the cd onto my computer using windows media player does anyone know how i add them to my ipod i cant drag and drop them

Go under My Music and they should be in there. Then add those to iTunes and it will update them onto the Nano.

Import them into itunes directly. Or find the folder that you used to ripp them into using WMP and go to file>add folder to library>ok. That should work.

You have to do it through iTunes.
