Vice Eye problems

Okay guys I have a Vice with the 4c eyes and a tadao M8 board and it's recently been acting up. Sometimes the 4 eyes will work and sometimes the board will go purple showing that there are only two eyes and sometimes the eyes don't work at all. First I thought it was the main wire harness and I replaced it and it wasn't. The board has never done this before and all settings are stock, not that though would matter. I'm just looking for some feedback as to what you guys think. The eyes are perfectly clean and don't seem to be damaged at all. Thanks in advance for your help.

Make sure the battery is fresh, and that the screws are securely holding the eyes onto the body of the gun.

Have you taken the frame off lately? You might want to check the eye wire harness after^^^

already replaced the harness

Battery is brand new and the screws are securely holding the eyes to the body.

Is your loader on the gun to ensure that the light isn't getting on the eyes and causing them to misread?

yes, it does it with the loader on and off, and even when I slide the bolt forwards. I think I may have solved the problem though. My top right eye seems to have paint actually behind the eye. I'm going to borrow my friends eye for that side and try it out, it seems that that is the problem.
