solenoid leak?

i went to my field today and my superstock shot fine chronoed fine but later in the day when i got home all of a sudden my solenoid would leak as i turned the lpr up. the problem is that as when there is any air at all it leaks. is my solenoid going bad or something?

The most common reason for that is debris inbetween your solenoid and solenoid-gasket.

Another reason could be that your LPR somehow overpressurized the noid and it moved the gasket out of place.

The gasket is this tiny little plastic that seals between your solenoid and the solenoid housing.

Either way if th eleak persists ; thats your best bet. You'll have to unscrew the solenoid and reseat the gasket with a new light coat of lube.

P.S. In some cases the RAM seal goes bad and one of th eysmptoms is solenoid leaks. This is rarer, however.

I am having a similar problem with my system x xonik. It leaks from what seems like the gasket, but replacing it with another did nothing. It does not put pressure on the ram as well when aired up.

That is probably an O-ring in the RAM actually.
