are you using that stab w/ on-gun C02 by any chance?? If so, how's it working for you, and what's your shot count w/ what size tank

(i'm HOPEFULLY finally getting mine this month, and was gonna run a setup like that)

stabs won't work, their flow coefficient isn't great enough. - ask aard.

Question actually...

duno where you get your info Ghetto, but i've been running co2 very consistantly with a stabilizer, and so has my teamate "space monkey".

Anyway beer, the setup is great, my velocity is 5+- which is ok... for co2 anyway. The reg gets SOOO damn cold, i froze my hand to it in last week's practice. Ow, to say the least.

Mind you, CA is way better, just currently being ordered, my field just got it. And thats why i've been running it.

Good luck with your matrix man, co2 works fine for me.

i get my info from the guy who designed the gun, and eliminated stabs from production matrices.

The stabilizer will work for a while, then it will get very inconsistant. I run my gun on Co2 with an anti syphon tank and a reg that uses the same stock reg parts that came with the gun.
The high flow of the stock reg helps it to not get too cold.

yeah, i noticed the same thing when i was using the stab on my supernova, after a while, it just performed worse and worse when running at such low PSi. i was hoping to just use it to remove any liquid from the lines before going into the main reg . . . would i be better of jst riggin an expansion chamber in there instead ??

(i don't have anti siphon setup right now, because i don't have a vice in my apt to take the valve out, i'll get that one of these days, then it won't be such a big deal)

Aardvark, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that you are meaning using the Stabilizer as the only reg, going vertical into the gun. What Velocity and I are doing is running CO2 into a bottomline stabe, then into the stock reg. It works fine and neither one of us have had any CO2 related problems yet. With the stabe in this configuration will it still mess up eventually?

Thanks

No your Stab should not muck up in that configuration. They are designed to run between 300-500psi.
It is only when you try to get it to make a career at 150 you get problems.
