just got mine in the mail last night and was very happy with the marker. It is well made with all the parts fitting together nicely. The gun metal to olive fade anno job on it was nice as well. I will be buying the T-board next week and already have a CP reg on it. Also going to order a valve and Shockteck Supper Fly bolt. I'll let you know how it shoots in about 1.5 weeks.
Later,
Ida

The 2006 GTI is not worth the money. Many have said it could be the "Ion Killer", but the Promaster is. I would get a PMI Evo, instead of the GTI.

I've shot one and liked it fine, but I too would go with the Evo if you have the money.

I went with the GTI mainly due to the fact I like it's body much more than I like the Evo...though I agree that the SE eddition Evo from Boss is a much better buy than what I'm doing. I am a tinkerer and just wanted a project.

PS- My total cost on the project will be around $300ish...which is fine by me. I do like the Promaster a ton but for some reason my wife doesn't think buying a $350 gun is sane..though sh'll let me buy tons of parts for a cheapy...lol

Ions tears apart the 06 GTI, and promaster the Ion. My buddy has one and he smacks himself for not buying an Ion or a PM

Yeah, that's king of silly. The ION cost almost 3times as much. The GTI is a great buy for what it is. And as you grow you can improve yoour GTI along with you.

Even though it is going for a low price, the gun is still not worth what you are paying for it. Get a PMI Evo, they are alot better.

It is worth every penny. Now is the EVO a better buy dollar for dollar? YES.

Get a promaster. You can get them for $330 on ebay. I love mine, I used to own an ION, it shot alright, but was unreliable during games.
