I have a GTX 260M. So ... pretty much no FC3 for me?

EDIT: Installing the latest GPU beta drivers seemed to have fixed it. Of course the new drivers caused EVGA Precision to set my OC settings to Max Offset which caused my card to have a meltdown and I had to hard reset, but I think I got that in order now.

I updated to the new drivers prior to playing, I wonder if it helped.
Fortunately I have an MSI card and I OC with afterburner. My 1500mhz/7200mhz settings stayed.

I don't normally like using beta drivers but I guess it's a must for right now if you are using a 600 series card. Still getting crazy graphics glitches every once in awhile but for the most part it's running better.

It's running perfectly for me, even with a high OC. I've used the past few beta drivers with pretty good success.

It's kind of just a freak thing now. I think some parts on the map are just glitched. I'm sure Nvidia will have a full release driver update soon and Crytek will continue to patch so it should be fixed. What graphics settings are you running right now? I'm running very high settings with no MSAA and getting 60fps+.
Also, this Uplay **** is ****ing stupid, and tricking tigers into killing pirates is ****ing awesome. |

I'm running the ultra settings (when you click the presets up top) with 8x MXAA I believe. With the update and reapplying my OC, I'm getting around 90fps.

I guess I haven't even checked if the beta driver upped my fps. On ultra with everything up I was only getting 40fps when I first strategy he game. It was definitely playable, but made the inputs feel a little sluggish. Now frame rate isn't an issue but glitches are. Also, UI in this game is terrible. And I hate games I can't alt-tab out of without them switching to windowed mode. Crysis and Crysis 2 were the same way. |

Mine doesn't switch to windowed when I alt-tab, usually. It did once and I had to close it with the task manager.

Not sure if I'd equate a gaming PC with a best water cooling system. I've seen great air-cooled gaming systems that perform just as good. Just a little more noisy. Water-cooling for some is more of a hobby... or they are trying to achieve high stable overclock speeds.
Anyhow... FC3 or FC3-DE? Is the DE worth the extra $10? |

Back on topic, unless you are one of those guys that NEEDS to own all of the DLC for a game, it isn't very much worth it, the Missions are nothing special.
