The KP+ is electronic. It has eyes on the hammer and three different firing modes controlled by the circuit board. The modes are single fire (KP style), auto trigger and "enhanced" firing mode. Auto trigger is by far the most useful mode as you can hold down the trigger and for every pump you fire a shot. Enhanced mode does the same thing except you don't even hold down the trigger to fire.
