okay so i got the new impeller in. but it is the one with the prongs that stick up. i think it came from the newer revvy. it drops balls a lot slower. is there something im missing or doing wrong? or is this just the wrong impeller

you need a standard 12v revvy impellor. I haven't messed with the newer style impellors, but you might want to try to bend the paddles down so that they are scraping the side of the raceway.

What about a single paddle impeller, like on one side not like a revvy one.

just one paddle wouldn't be very affective.

Now connect the red of the connector to the red coming from the battery board. Now drill or cut out a hole where the two halves of the ball ramp meets so that the wires can fit in the gap. Now is where you make a decision: Do you want the ball ramp? If not mount the 9v using one of these super glued or velcroed to the bottom of the ball cavity under the door.
Can also be done with the battery conector mod the same way by substisuting the two main connecotrs for the battery board in the diagram.

If you want to keep the ball ramp you can cut out a little strip where the upper corner of the ramp can fit.
i improved this mod.i wired a switch into the circuit so that i can turn the mod on and off.because i burnt up my old motor with this mod. the diagram in the pic tell how to do the mod.in the pic it shows a 3 way slider switch, you can also use a toggle switch.

the mod shouldn't burn out the motor, what is more likely is that the gears were out of alingment.

to Lazy to read each page, easy way to save the door life is to sand or dremal the inside of the door so the whole inside is even.

by putting the batteries in parralel, you will not get enough voltage for the servo to run.

there is no scientific way that the speed is the same with 1 9v supplying ~6 volts to the servo vs. 2 9vs giving ~12

the ones out of the acutally revies work, it seems that the ones from the tripod are shaped diferently to fit inside of the different shell tops.
