This is what killed Aion for me, primarily.

that and the long *** bull**** grind that everything needed.

When my friend was talking about this game (he's quitting WoW for this) he kept mentioning different aspects of the game that he liked, and for everyone one he mentioned it was either something that was in Aion, or WoW.

Then I saw my first video of it, and it looks a lot like Aion.

So I got one of the betas, and if this turns out to be a Korean MMO made by Americans I'm not even going to bother. I'll stick to DC Universe and it's broken *** chat system.

Signed up for the beta. I'll give it a shot, haven't really played an MMO in a while, and I don't think I could go back to WoW.

I've already pre-ordered this game as well. Can't wait for the early access to start. I've played in two of the beta's so far, and the class system in this game is really well put together.

I really hate comparing games to other games, but if I HAD to compare this game...I'd say it's a mix of Warhammer Online, Guild Wars and Aion. The graphics definitely look like an improved version of Warhammer though.

yes.

It let me in anyway, but it's still ****in' weird that it did it.

I got to level 10. It's fun to pass the time, but I don't have a real opinion about it, yet.

I got a free beta just for signing up on the website. I haven't even preordered. I keep telling you guys it's that simple.

Donloaded last night about to hop on.

Edit: Playing as Gaurdian Rogue. Ended up going ranger and I've been super impressed so far. Once I figured it out I actually feel OP.

I got my cleric up to level 21. Definitely a fun class. I love the way souls/roles work in this game.

Yeah. Leveling up seems nice. I got a mage to like level 12 or so and it's just now starting to get tedious to level up. The quests have been kinda **** so far and all I wanna do is do a raid or something though. It's too much of a grind to get to a decent level so far. They should mix in a little more fun or a little more teamplay in the early levels.

I wasn't able to play enough to get very far, but it was pretty fun. I made a mage at first and wasn't really feeling it, so I made another with different classes and it was 10x better. Thinking about pre-ordering.

I did quests until 10, ran to sanctum, did warfronts in between rifts. Best way to level IMO. Some questing is good, but rifts+warfronts is more fun+more loot/good xp.

It's different for everyone. I personally enjoy doing the quests...Taking my time and actually reading them and getting into the lore/world of the game is what gives me enjoyment.

In the past I use to just rush through the quests, not even reading them..Just pressing accept and following where I was suppose to go on the map, etc...I eventually figured out though that the game just get's very boring quick that way.

I'm bored, so I think I'm going to give this try. I really just need something to tide me over until GW2 (crossing my fingers that its awesome and more than 12 people end up playing) and it seems like people like this game.

Of course, off the 100 comparisons I've seen, 50 say this is a ****ty wow clone and 50 more say its nothing like wow. We'll see.

Not to get this off subject but GW2 is going to be huge. I know quite a few WoW fanboys that are planning on switching. Plus everyone I know that has lived and breathed GW like I did is planning on coming back.

The PvP in GW2 looks like it is going to leave us with a swimming pool of sweat from intensity afterwards.

But the beta of Rift has been great so far. Not as fun as GW, to me, but great nonetheless.
