DM 11 ASA Leak - Help

So my gun is leaking from the bleed hole on the bottom of the airport adapter (where the tank screws in). Is this a tank o-ring problem? The manual doesn't say that it is. I replaced the #5 and #7 o-rings inside the pin housing with no results, still leaks. Going to try the tank regulator o-rings next. This leak is incosistent, sometimes it leaks, sometimes it doens't. Any ideas?

- Wes

Most likely tank oring.. I'd go ahead and chance that first, cause tearing down the the NT style asa's can be a pain for first time

but you can refer to page 30-31 in your manual for a tear down of it

Make sure you lube the 005 oring really well. Try changing the pin as well.

The only thing between the tank and that hole is the 005 oring, pin, pin housing and the 007 on the pin housing.

So would bad tank o-rings contribute to a leak there? I though it would leak from the threads of the asa if the tank o-rings were bad. What do you think HotXRod?

Got the DM fixed at World Cup. Turns out all my internal ASA parts were fine. The issue was that the pin housing had either worked its way to far back or to far foward inside the ASA to get a good seal for the air pressure. The DYE tech adjusted the housing back to its correct position and put some blue threadlock on it for me. Gun shoots 100% now.

He said it looks like my ASA cavity is drilled too deep so the pin housing can screw farther into the ASA body than it should, causing it not to seal when aired up. Something to keep in mind for you guys if your ASA ever starts acting funny and replacing parts doesn't fix it. Thanks for the awesome customer service DYE.
