My Vice with a Ryujin board and 4C eyes was working normally until yesterday, when the eyes would register as constantly blocked, even on boot. They do not react to paint or my finger, and pulling the trigger immediately indicates an eye malfunction.

I have tried:

Resetting factory settings
Cleaning eyes
Checked harness/connections
Different eye modes
New battery

Nothing has worked.

Make sure there screwed down all the way, that there completely clean and that all that wires are connected and not pinched anywhere.

They may be fried. They do die on occasion. I've replaced mine twice in four years. There was also an issue, if I recall, with Tadao code causing eye issues.

I have heard BLAST is pretty good about fixing issues free of charge if you call them and send your gun in. Any credit to that?

It depends. Lately they've been charging. If you think it's a board issue, you'll have to contact Tadao.

was same issue with vice eye (2c eyes) - it was bad soldering of smd infrared diode. solder rulez
