pro players get away with alot of stuff because they wont sue anybody for them getting shot and injured because they wont risk giving up the sport they love

As someone else in another thread mentioned, doesn't this say something about these players and their faith in the product they're sponsored by? I'd think that of all people, DYE should be blowing a gasket over their product being modified by their highest-profile player. Aren't their goggles good enough as manufactured? Sends a message, y'know?

And yes, those never should have made it on the field. NPPL Rule 5.01 clearly states that safety equipment must be unmodified. I don't believe, though, that there's any penalty stated for modifying. Perhaps there should be.

i think not. its true. refs arent really worried about the safety issues ,especially with somthing so small when it comes to pro players. like he said they arent gunna sue and there wont be any legal matter if one of them gets hurt. so really and trully theres no worries

I know what the refs think becuase I am one. It's hard as a Chronograph ref to check for everything on every player. That is why they are starting to have 2 refs at the chrono station, 1 Head Chrono Ref, 1 Chrono Assistant. Even if a Chrono Ref does not catch the flaw, a field ref should. Pro players shall have no exceptions to the rule just like anybody else. I don't care if you get paid 100k to play or you have to pay 2k to play, rules are rules for everybody.

Your statement is not correct. Players have no more exceptions than everyone else.
