help with info.
Hello everybody, I am getting a new marker soon and was thinking about an Evil Pimp. But I opened my facefull magazine and saw the Alien. although I think its a little odd, I like how its extremely unique. I have looked in the vs thread and didn't see one for the Pimp. I can get a used Pimp for around $350, and I wanted to know how much used Aliens run for. Thankyou.

From what I've seen it's typically around $400, a little more with ups.

only seen a couple used. And that was from Alien PB personally. They seemed to have some problems. But then again all guns do. My pimp finally gave me a problem. Need new valve stem and a #19 oring on my lpr. Doesnt really care though bc ill be buying a hybrid lpr for my pimp anyway.
If size, weight and efficiency are big deciding factors for you. Id say go with alien over the pimp. although if u want to make a unique gun overtime, pimp is awesome. Later on get it milled, custom bolt, new regs,on/off,gripss,barrel,feedneck,detents,trigger,frame.

I was looking at the Aliens because I love the ideas/features they have for ex: sweep techknowledgy, weight, size. and I have never even seen these things in my area, I know for a fact it would turn heads. but its a little too expensive enless someone was generous enough to lose money; I will probably get a Pimp but Alien always could be a next marker after that.

you can't go wrong with either, except for customer service and resale. pimp resale is dropping every day, sad to say, since they are decent guns, and jack rice's customer support is amazing. i would take an alien over a pimp, but i wouldn't really have a problem shooting a pimp.

eh, we're a bunch of logical guys. we don't usually trash on other guns simply because we think aliens are better. this is one of the few forums that you can (usually) get non biased answers.

Yarr.... I was gonna get a Pimp before I got the Alien - saw one at the field a couple weeks back... shot nicely, but its pretty heavy... then again, he was using a steel tank...
Think either way you go you won't have many (if any) problems.

Pimps are pretty nice, however I detest the stock trigger.
Go for the Alien.

Overall, feell weight, look....Alien.
pimps are very reliable, but apparently so are Aliens.

well as many people say about shockers, for their size pimps are really heavy. but yeah tehy are good guns. the new ones have normal triggers.
the only alien ive ever seen used was on ebay and it was going for 475 with no barrel or bottom line setup, and a screw missing from the ramm asembly. that was an 05. so im assuming an 06 would be more than that with the barrel and bottom line in good condition. you gotta give teh guns some credit man, tehy arent going to depreciate that fast, i mean jesus tehy just came out and retail at 600.

believe me, if I had the money, I would be an Alien owner, but take into consideration, the Pimp will be my first electro pnuematic marker, idk if I would understand everything about the Alien, I havn't really made an attemp to learn the full EP thing b/c I never thought I would get this serious. lol I feel ashamed but anybody got a link to explain it? *insert flame here lol* give me a year or so with my Pimp and when I am ready for a third, I will definatley check on the 07's....possibly 06's used for a good price. thanks

Sweet dude, thanks for that link... I know the basiccs of how most guns work, but its always cool to see animations of how actual guns that I have or have shot really operate...
