I could give you a run for your money, Lurker. You would almost certainly win, but it would be close.

Lurker, if you're lurking comment on my first two meals (one meal pre-WO, 2nd meal is post). I'm cutting @ 2000 calories.

Morning: Cup of tea

Meal 1 (@ 2:00)

1/2 cup Brown Rice (cooked it's about 2 cups)
120g Chicken

Totals: 460 Cals, 5g fat, 72g carb, 31g protein

Workout @ 4:30

2nd Meal (immediately post-WO @ 5:30 or so):
190g Chicken
2 scoop protein
Banana
Cheese Omelet

Totals: 991 cals (basically 50% of total daily cals), 34g Fat, 59g carbs, 109g protein

Totals for two meals: 1451 cals, 39g fat, 131g carb, 140g protein

I'll likely have a cup of coffee or something at Noon, but I doubt that's of any concern.

And then I have a final meal probably around 9. In that meal, I'd get the remaining 550 calories I need, the remaining 40-60g of protein I'd like, and then I'm actually a bit lost as far as fats and carbs go. Would you recommend attempting to get a higher carb count (this is a training day) or get some higher fats? I was just thinking about wolfing down some PB with whey, but let me know what you think.

Also, are you particularly against fat consumption post-WO? The majority of carbs post-WO are coming from the banana to keep them simple, but I do notice that with the eggs + cheese, fats are still decently high.

No....Fats are fine post W.O. as long as they come with protein. Don't eat lard or Ice Cream, but eggs and sausage and the like is fine PWO.

I missed that guy by like, 5 minutes haha.

And ice cream really isn't an awful option post-WO, from what I've seen.

meal breakdown looks good....there is very little research on fats periworkout so it's hard to say...I don't see any reason to believe you have too much, though.

As far as my final meal that will occur tonight, would you suggest getting more fats or carbs specifically? Or just make sure to get enough protein and then do whatever I'm feeling for the rest of the cals?

I still retain a sense of carb timing with LG. I know it's not hailed or recommended for/against - but I think it doesn't hurt.

I got for fats/protein my last meal with veggies.

I go for fats/protein my last meal with veggies.
.
DT and I have been doing this for a while. My last meal is usually the inside of a sandwich or chicken, a green salad (just vegetables nothing else) and maybe some yogurt.
Actually incorporating carbs in your meal before bed is stupid. The best thing is obviously a casein shake, but its similar if you eat a low carb high prot meal.

Its stupid in the idea that it's fluff. The idea is to stuff your gullet full of protein and low GI carbs after your workout. If you can stuff another cup of icecream down after you eat 7-1200 calories, thats cool, but if you arent eating 700 in a sitting you ain't doin it right.

Could anyone clarify what happens on off days a bit more? I didn't seem to pick it out. Planning on doing a M/W/F routine.

I didnt really care because it wasnt a question. Good on you, thats a nice meal. How many calories come from the protein though? If I was yew I would eat more whole food at dinner and take one of those scoops out. 190g of chicken breast isnt that much. Thats 6 oz; Basically 1 breast. I ate two breasts Pre-workout today and ate double the amount of that protein after.

Doesnt matter.

2 chicken breasts + 1 bag of veggies = rougly 700 calories.

if 700 calories is 50-80% of your total caloric intake for the day, youredoingitwrong.
