unless you decide to anno the breech and chamber.
ive had two ions. both identical except for color.
Ape board, skeleton bolt, Qev's, new asa's. standard bodies.
stock barrels. i like the underdog simple look...but clawing the walls to get out...been asked several times if i am ramping on the field. NOPE!
just finely tuned.
if your not happy just find another ion to trick. its cheap now. keep this for a sibling..
donīt anno the breech, sand it with 2000 grid (I deannoed mine) do it gently
if you have an L7 Iīll sand it to very gently....Iwent crazy with mine and it end up paying off
If youre goin for max ROF(ramping) consider upgrading the reg to an AKA of Palmers ULP Fatty,Ive had dropoff issues with CP regs myself,the adjuster screw can also back out when depressurized,if you keep it I put a small amount of teflon tape or purple(low strength) loctite on it after cronoing,I use CPs on my mech ion and they work fine,anything over 15 bps I've had issues with
Dont buy a Warriors Autococker breech BTW,they suck
Consider changing your detents to magnetic(killas) or spring(TechT)
